Why can't I find my flight in Flighty?
Our flight database is world-class, but aviation records prior to 2006 don’t exist, and data from 2006 to 2011 is often incomplete.
Sometimes a flight isn’t in our system yet, and may take 1 to 24 hours to appear.
The most common reasons you can't find your flight are:
- The airline only recently added the flight, and our system is still syncing it.
- The flight is far in the future, and the airline hasn’t submitted it yet.
- Some airlines update the official flight database weekly instead of in real time.
- The airline quietly changed your flight number. Try searching by route instead.
If your search turns up empty, we automatically get a report.
Other reasons include:
- Airlines frequently adjusting schedules.
- Your flight is still months away.
- Some low-cost carriers only update once a week.
What if I still can't find my flight?
- Wait a few hours and try again.
- Tap “Tell us what’s wrong” at the bottom of the empty search screen to report it (we’ll review it, but you should not expect a reply)
- Try searching by route in case the flight number changed.
- For flights today, wait a few minutes and retry.
- For future flights, wait a few hours and retry.
- For past flights, add the flight manually
