Why is Calendar Sync not working?

Duplicate Calendar Entries

There are certain situations that lead to duplicate calendar entries when using Calendar Export:

  • Another app (like TripIt) is also adding flight events. We recommend only using one calendar integration to avoid overlap.

  • You and a Flighty Friend share the same calendar with both Import and Export enabled. For best results, use one calendar per person.

  • A flight was manually added to your calendar, then imported and re-exported by Flighty. Since Flighty didn’t create the original, we won’t delete it. We recommend manually deleting the original entry if you notice duplicates.

File Not Imported

Here are the most common items to check:

  • Are the flights in Apple Calendar?

  • Navigate to iOS → Settings → Calendar → Sync. Is it set to "All Events"?

  • Does the calendar event contain an airline, flight number, and departure airport?
